For the post of SSA (scale no. 9) and Police Station Assistant (PSA) (Scale No. 7), detailed advertisement has to be uploaded on the official website inviting the applications from the residents of the concerned districts for the government-approved pay plus allowances on Temporary Basis (which will be permanent post). To be eligible, the candidates need to fulfill the mentioned criteria:

For Police Station Assistant (PSA)
Age: Male/Female 18 to 25 years
Residency: A candidate must reside in the district and possess a valid National Identity Card.
Required Qualification: ICS (Intermediate in Computer Science) from a recognized board and MS Office certificate (Computer) from an endorsed institution. Candidates with BS/BSc degrees will be preferred. Typing speed: English 35 WPM, Urdu 25 WPM.
Note: ICS degree is required.

Instructions for Candidates For Police Station Assistant (PSA)
Interested candidates should register on the Punjab Police website www.punjabpolice.gov.pk, complete the application form, and upload their documents and certificates. A fee of 2500/- rupees should be deposited in the specified account, and the receipt of the fee payment must also be uploaded.
Applications can be uploaded online from [insert start date] to [insert end date].
Recruitment schedule information can be checked on the above website, and candidates will be informed via online notifications or SMS.
Candidates from Districts Murree, Talagang, Kot Addu, and Wazirabad should apply from their respective districts.

Note
- Candidates will undergo an English and Urdu typing test. Only those who pass will proceed to the Computer-Based Test (CBT) on the same day.
- Candidates who pass the test will be invited for an interview in a 1:3 ratio.
- To prepare for the typing test, candidates can download and practice on www.fast-typing.com to check their typing speed, as passing the typing test is mandatory.
- Candidates who wish to claim extra marks based on family claims (3 extra marks) must upload all relevant documents such as the pension book, retirement order copy, and a certificate from the respective district/unit head.
- All candidates must upload an affidavit (on stamp paper) stating that they are not involved in any criminal cases, FIRs, or wanted by the police. False affidavits will result in disqualification from recruitment and legal action.
- Suppose any candidate’s educational certificates, domicile, CNIC, or medical certificates are found to be fake or unverified at any stage of the recruitment process. In that case, their recruitment will be canceled, and legal action will be taken.
- No reimbursement of any expenses incurred during the recruitment process will be provided to candidates.
- A medical examination will be conducted at the provincial authorized hospital for the final selection. Failure to pass this medical examination will result in disqualification.
- The department reserves the right to amend or cancel this advertisement in part or in whole.
